This is a news recap for PC gaming during the month of February 2017. This month I cover major releases, indie releases, upcoming releases for the next month, and reward the Steam User Favorite to the game from the previous month with stellar user reviews. This month's news story that I'm highlighting is Steam's announcement regarding the end of Steam Greenlight and the advent of Steam Direct.

The Steam User Favorite is awarded to the game from the prior month that has 100 or more user reviews and the best percentage of positive reviews on Steam out of all games released in that month.
