Hello YouTube! SSGL now hopping aboard the good old Y-W. Mission starts at 4:33. Hopefully I can make 2-player system link vids next time, since I have 2 copies of this game.

-Briefing-

The Imperial defector has told us about the critical convoy they where part of, hauling classified materials towards a distant outpost in this sector. Unfortunately, he couldn't provide us with specifics. He and his crew where on a need to know basis, and the main computer cores of their ships turned out to be heavily encrypted. It's going to take some time. Otherwise, he and his crew are being interrogated regarding the reasons for their defection, while those who attempted to thwart our last mission will be dealt with accordingly.

Meanwhile, a mission is being assembled to intercept this convoy for intelligence gathering purposes. But we must be wary. A Nebulon B Frigate is with the Freighters we intend to capture, and that means lots of TIE Fighters.

You are to fly a Y-W armed with Proton Torpedoes to handle the Frigate, which can be a real treat to our fragile transports. You will have one wingman. Your secondary role is to help the X-Ws should the TIEs prove more than they can handle.

During this mission one can notice that I didn't told our transports to hold position until we cleared the enemy fighters and capital ship. That's because unlike the previous mission, they where primary FGs here. And that means no communication can be sent. Otherwise, cheating would be possible. In this case, as primary FGs, we couldn't afford to lose them, or the enemy would win. If one could talk to them, then is just a matter of telling one to hyper back home! Lol!
