The main point of this test is not to test Need for Speed 5, the goal is to see how my machine can handle the Pentium 2 emulation.

I start from the 450Mhz Pentium II, the emulation is run around 50%. Dropping the MHz to 400Mhz does not significantly improve emulation speed. 366 Mhz will increase the speed to 60% and at 300Mhz I am able to see 70-75%. Dropping the Mhz to 233 will make the emulation go as high as 80-85% but that is still not enough for an enjoyable experience.

There is not any significant difference in the performance of the Pentium II and the Celeron emulation.

My rig is an i5 4650@3,4GHz equipped with 16GB RAM
