Between Grounded and Pentiment, Obsidian has broken their own mold. Traditionally, they are known for games such as Fallout: New Vegas, The Outer Worlds, and many other RPGs. Suffice to say that there last two releases have been the furthest things from traditional RPGs. With Pentiment, they have another hidden gem here, but it's not for everyone. It expects a lot out of your historical and biblical knowledge plus its $20 price tag clearly limited some things that would have been worth investing in for a text only game.
