There was a time when I led a faction called Regenesis. We were the server's finest. We dominated TW and PvP alike. We were known to all, whether for our TW supremacy, or our pve helpfulness. Yet, all good things fall apart. Internal conflicts, real life issues and general loss of interest in this game eventually brought us down... Now the faction lay in the forgotten lands, only a fraction of the glory it once was. It seems like fate has brought us together again, but this time, as foes and not allies. Was it a mistake for me to return like so? Was it a mistake to have left in the first place? Perhaps in time we shall see whether the name Regenesis is true...

In this video, I engage in the long forgotten event known as Territory War! It has been over half a year since I last did a territory war and a lot of things have changed since then. As a result, I probably did not performance as well as I could have done. At the end of the video, a 1v1 against FayHumming, our server's best geared wizard is featured.

Previously, I have only twed for Regenesis on my Assassin. This time however, I am twing for BootyCamp, fighting old members of Regenesis. BootyCamp and Regenesis are both middle sized faction now. Neither of us are able to field a full 80 for TW. As a result, our squad's structure and role is not very complete and not very defined. There were major communication issues within the squad and between squads, and we were also lacking key classes. For this reason, the support that I received throughout TW is less than desired, and that may have hindered me from being able to maximize my potential.

We have also made an attack against Vex, which is a faction made by a group who split off from Regenesis long after I left. Vex is currently able to field more members than we can in TW, so the fight against them featured in this video was a 2 way attack on them by us and Regenesis. Regenesis was victorious against them that weekend. While we managed to get on their crystal, we ultimately lost the war when Regenesis claimed victory and reinforcement for vex arrived.

At the end of the video, I had a 1v1 with FayHumming who is currently the best geared wizard on our server. He is full r9rr, all pieces +12 and fully jaded. On top of that, he also have all NW gears except the helmet. For that fight, my gear was mostly +7 and my daggers were only +8. Luckily, FayHumming is sage and uses 1 Magic attack ring, as opposed to a physical defense ring. That allows just enough damage for me to kill him. If it wasn't for that, I may not be able to kill him due to gear differences alone. I did somewhat luck out at the end with my 8 crits in a row. The chances of landing 8 criticals like that is roughly 0.623% chance, or 1 in 160. I played very defensively in that fight, and being Sage was definitely necessary to pull off a few defenses I performed in that fight. There was definitely no way that I could have won self buffed since he has the damage to 1 shot me even through full buffs. I could have possibly killed him even if it was not for those 8 critical in a row, since I've gotten close to killing him a few other tries as well. Although it would've definitely dragged the fight on longer, especially with purify spell. That would leave room for more error. Against gear differences, making mistakes are fatal. Although this isn't to say that Fay did terrible in that fight. Just that perhaps he doesn't understand the full potential of the Assassin class well enough yet.
