Now that I am two hours into it, there is a new enemy in the form of turrets. But the enemies don't feel very varied and the encounters are mostly the same. There's quite a few areas where waves of the same enemy occur for a bit longer than needed. The graphics still look fantastic, but perhaps the cost of high-polygon is now showing up in a lack of variety. I could see something as simple as colored lighting with different skyboxes really enhancing the variety of existing geometry, like Quake 64. Its still a fun game and forgiving with health.
