An adventure set in a fantasy medieval world with it's own world map where you live in a camp int he woods and even act like Robin Hood, I'm so in! You and your gang live in a camp in the woods and you get a few tasks and most of all you have to make decisions and win fights. The fights and some decisions are decided by a diceroll, this is a nice touch, though it feels like the game favors you winning, but that is okayis, as I don't want to replay a lot. There is a task and/or puzzle to make gunpoweder, you even find the ingredients but never reach them, there are a limited amount of things you can do in a day is seems and after a while the weapons transport arrives and there we go, I haven't had time to fulfill any of the tasks or in that way solve any puzzle, that is a bit less satisfying, but I reached the end as you see in the longplay. So it is mostly exploring a fantasy setting in great EGA pixelart and meeting people and fighting soldiers, that is fun already. Some more animations would add even more life to the world, but this is a jam game made in 2 weeks, so it is a lot to discover for that. There is some music at the beginning and at the end but sadly not throughout the whole game, some music would be nice there to get into the world some more...

Synopsis:
Perilous Wilde follows the valiant Amelya Conner and her forest band of exiles as they plot a town's rescue against villainous invaders. It's a callback to traditional adventure games of the 80s and 90s with a twist: certain highlighted actions have uncertain outcomes that will change on different playthroughs, but can be controlled through careful planning!

Perilous Wilde was made for the 2021 Adventure X Jam in 2 weeks, plus later ongoing bugfixes and minor updates.
