In this video, Persian Gulf Inferno, released in 1990 for the Atari ST by Magic bytes.
Some nasty terrorists have captured the world's largest oil reserve and if their demands are not fullfilled they will blow it up with non less than an atomic bomb. Where did they get an atomic bomb? Irrelevant, the most important thing is that you are the hero that must save the oil reserve and the Persian Gulf from burning, in this side scrolling action game. To tell the truth the action is limited to slowly shooting terrorists left & right and exploring offices, trying to locate and disarm the bomb. Graphically it recalls Impossible mission on C64 with revamped sprites and backgrounds, with normal omni-directional scrolling; the gaming windows is very small, the audio is nearly non-existent. The playability unfortunately is far from good, because of the general slowliness of the game; the action is slow paced, the movements are slow, the only fast things are the bullets. Ah, and to add slowliness, everytime you open a door there's a disk access to load what's inside.
Here you'll find loading screen and exploration of the first area.

All footage taken from original hardware machines and upscaled to 1080P.

Let me know what do you think about the video in the comments below but, most important, Enjoy!!!
