Ooookay. So the way this happened was that I thought I was plugging the AC cord designed for the HD PVR into the unit. But I actually plugged in a different similar looking one. Next thing I knew, it smelled like something was insidiously hot...

So just like that, I fried some key pieces on the HD PVR's chip. It is now dead. Supposedly, it can be replaced, but I have no idea how to fix that. I'll have to look at a new, less restrictive capture device to begin recording again in the future.

Recording in HD will be needed, and I probably won't look to get another Haulage. But if you people who watch have any suggestions, I'm open on ears.

PS... spoilers on next game walktrhough #1. I'll just upload what I managed so far.
