Olimar and Louie return to another tutorial esque day to discover a new breed of Pikmin and a little bit more. It seems there have been vast changes since he last left the planet.

Day two is where the game opens up a bit. You now want to take advantage of the nearby pellet-posies and defeat the two enemies present if you want. The main attraction of day two is the cave system that the majority of the treasures you find in the game will be found.

Normally, you really can only get up to 70 Pikmin on this day if you don't loose any, though somehow one does go missing. You could just enter the cave and leave to get more, but that's not really necessary.

The day auto-ends once you get the Sphere Chart... because the ship says so.
