Phasmophobia | Herlock Sholmes, Ghost Hunter
1What's this? Phasmophobia on a Thursday again? Don't get used to it, lovely viewers. Long and unpleasant story short, I had a very, very bad Wednesday that was not going to allow me to play anything with any kind of motion component involved. I didn't think I could make it, and you all didn't want me to try (trust me) so I did the smart thing and postponed. Thankfully we were able to make time on Thursday to catch up with our usual weekly challenge antics. (We also started a little bit later than I'd prefer, since Sagi and I had somewhere to be and needed to eat before we got home.)
As a warning, you'll hear bouts of complaining about Twitch's new vague "content classification" tags while we face down some extremely stubborn ghosts. For the record, I do not actually think I meet the definition of needing to tag for excessive foul language and/or sexual content, but it's unclear, I doubt Twitch will stop to ask before issuing warnings, and I do not want problems... and I'm not monetized anyway, which means fear of being canceled by advertisers isn't a concern yet. I do have serious questions about the continued re-emergence of draconian/Victorian attitudes in our society (and expecting streamers to be babysitters) but that's a rant for another time and place. I hope you all know that potty words and naughty jokes are a feature here, not an issue, and I intend to preserve that until such time as I can no longer do so.
This week's challenge map was for "Detectives Only," and as we suspected, this meant zero evidence. It also meant no UV lights specifically, even though we still had flashlights and glowsticks. Given how hard some of the ghosts were to locate, we're pretty sure that ghost interactions were turned down too! This was a rough one, but as always, our intrepid team of professionals knows no fear and no limitations... not even death.
We did need every single minute of our usual two hours though, if that tells you anything.
