Meekins has a confusing story to tell about what happened in the evidence room, and after five minutes of blatherskite, Meekins mentions that there's a video of him committing the murder, which he really should have told us at the beginning of the conversation.
Phoenix and Ema then chat with Chief Gant. He tells them about Edgeworth and the odd evidence. The Head Detective gives Phoenix a half-completed lost item form found at Bruce Goodman's desk, and Gant gives our heroes permission and an access card to visit the scene of the crime: the evidence room.
