5This is why the Complex is the best area to obtain White and Purple Pikmin. Using the Candy Pop Buds, you can even boost other colours in the process.
Each visit to this cave will provide a chance to earn 20 White and 15 Purple Pikmin You can also use the Queen Candypop buds to gain another 14 Pikmin total. This process will speed up immensely if you have the Professional Noise Maker (Whistle power-up that causes Pikmin sprouts to auto-pluck out of the ground). If you check eggs while in each area, you may also find some sprays along the way.
3 runs can take up to or around 20-25 minutes. If you need some more Purple Pikmin or White Pikmin (or even both), this is the best place. You can also use the command from the menu to leave as soon as you hit the 8th Sublevel and get the Purple Pikmin..
