Pit-Fighter (Sega Master System) - Zilog and Moto #186
26Ah, Pit-Fighter. Again. Previously, I reviewed the Genesis version, but that simply wasn't enough pain, so now it's time to look at the Master System version. On the surface...it's pretty horrific, as you'll see when you get to the gameplay footage. However, honestly, it's not the worst game I've ever played, and it IS Pit-Fighter, even if it has some drastically reduced graphics.
To try and combat that, this week I captured the footage from Pit-Fighter using my trusty RetroTink 5X from Mike Chi like I always do, but this time around, I decided to play with the scanline filters a bit, and I think I've finally found one that I like using. Please let me know in the comments if you like the "filtered" game footage, or if you prefer that I go back to the previously unfiltered captures, as I'm really curious what everyone else's opinion is.
