LHX Attack Chopper (Sega Genesis) - Zilog and Moto #187
28Back in episode 86, I reviewed F-22 Interceptor, a military combat sim featuring an imagined version of what would eventually become the F-22 Raptor. This was part of Electronic Arts short lived EA Air Force Series, along with Desert Strike, and this game, LHX Attack Chopper. While Desert Strike (and the entire Strike series) were more action games, LHX Attack Chopper was similar to F-22 Interceptor, except for featuring a theoretical helicopter instead of a plane.
LHX Attack Chopper isn't a bad game, and there are parts of it that are quite fun (i.e. the parts where you blow things up), but it's definitely not for everyone. Take a look, and possibly learn something, as I go over the history of the LHX program.
