Amicia and Hugo slip away from Lucas and Beatrice to find the Island on their own. Picking up after my computer crashed this morning.

Amicia and Hugo meet up with Arnaud again, but make their peace with him since they both all need help. They make their way across the beach and the nearby caves, dodging the rats, and learning to work and trust each other.

After lots of struggle, Amicia, Hugo and Arnaud make it to the smugglers where they meet Sophia. They learn the smugglers have been under attack of the rats. Parting ways with Sophia, the three set off on their boat to La Cuna. The place from Hugo's dream, that they hope will have some information about the Macula, and hopefully they can find something to help Hugo treat his condition, the Macula. Why does Arnaud want to make it to La Cuna, what is his past with the Count and the Countess on the island? Who can be trusted. Hugo and Amicia have to be on guard from threats at all sides, but at least they are able to enjoy a moment of tranquility and beauty as they sails to La Cuna, a rare respite.

Hugo and Amicia finally make it to the island in Hugo's dream, La Cuna, but it has an ominous feel, and an odd religion that the locals follow. Can Arnaud be trusted?
