Hugo and Amicia make their way to the coastal fortress to find out the fate of the previous carrier and protector. Will Amicia live up to the legacy she inherited?

Hugo and Amicia meet back up with Lucas and Beatrice, but can the count and countess be trusted. What will Hugo and Amicia find once they find the origin of the previous plague?

Our protagonish discover the truth underneath the paradise of La Cuna, and try to escape the island with Sophia's help. Lucas and Beatrice's arrival on the island throws a wrench in their plans, so they separate from Sophia (who is going to prep the boat to leave the island). Hugo and Amicia meet up with Lucas and Beatrice and find out about the Count and Countess' secret plans. They will have to call upon the rats again to survive.

When they find out about the Count's true intention, to murder them; Amicia has to play a deadly game of hide and seek to escape, but she doesn't escape unhurt. The Count had managed to hit her and dislocate her shoulder.

Amicia bravely has her confrontation with the Count, in front of a bound and tie Beatrice. She bravely fights him with one arm and a oversized sword, showing what she is capable of, calling upon all of her bravery and strength.

Things take a turn for the worse when Hugo finds out what happens to his mother and sister. Lucas and Amicia will have to take care of a shaken and tatonic Hugo, once the strain and trauma starts to take a heavy toll on our protagonist.
