So while doing the previous sub-100 year run, I was hit with an epiphany that I didn't really need to be making goods far from my cities and then transporting them over (ditto waste in the other direction) - it makes far more sense to have it nearby and then have the city grow around it, creating an industrial district of sorts. In fact, I can probably plan it in such a way it makes for a cool ultra-planned city that plays nicely into the hexagonal nature of the game.
So here we are, starting again.
I'm building way more infrastructure automation this time. Six of each depot type being made minimum seems like it'd stop that from being a bottleneck. Not that I couldn't have fixed this mid-run previously, but, y'know, lol
Also going to be heavily automating Dynamite this time. Terraforming is incredibly powerful and tippy toeing around it just sacrifices one of the more fun aspects of the game (well, duh, it's in the title)
