[MoteMancer] - EA launch(14) pt4 - Water Plane Wrap-up
I wanna get all the Downpour Bastion techs before moving on to Air.
In hindsight though, I probably could have cut like half an hour or so off the end because I was mucking around with making water/life Elemental binder arrays near the Water/Air Portal to send over, then I realized I wasn't sure if it was belting or machines that was causing more FPS drops in the current iteration of the game, and just ended up belting everything over for like a couple kilometers, lol
I do think that at some point it may be a better idea to just go back through the previous planes and delete everything unnecessary - most research trees that are done actually don't need the hodgepodge of buildings nor research pedestals anymore. I figure cleaning all that up might help some with FPS.
But on the other hand Air plane means access to Void chests soon, which WILL help cut down the amount of belting, so maybe I'll just deal with the declining FPS for now before doubling back.
I can also set up the Downpour Bastions at some point probably on Water plane to deal with everything. Right now I've gone northwest twice so I probably should be heading back generally southeast to not stray too far from the main Portal, which also means I'll be doubling back over some of my previous constructions on the other plane. The rifts/entropy exists on all planes simultaneously anyway, so dealing with them on Water, where water motes are plentiful, probably is the easiest solution, albeit it's going to be a bunch of walking back and forth.
