I didn't realize that the step that requires 2000 Nanocarbon Fiber pre-counts. Either that, or it bugged out and I saved about 3 years, lol
edit: confirmed with Gaddy Games this is a bug (which is now fixed. RIP this run's record I guess, it's 'not legit', lol)

Towards the end-game I got tired of waiting because of my random PEBCAK failure to upgrade or assign trains, so I cheesed time by manually moving full depots around (lmao) - I mean, the resources EXISTED, it'd just have taken time to ship around.

Well, instead of 077 May playing 'properly' without depot teleporting would still comfortably have made it under 100 years though - going in to fix one thing would usually mean fixing everything else rather than YOLOing it.

Speaking of which there needs to be an overlay or other visual to quickly show depot tiers - so much of my pain was simply due to not noticing Mk2 depots instead of Mk3

All in all this run took longer than I thought it would in real time, because I spent so much time agonizing over planting trees just to be able to jumpstart farming. I probably could have cut out a full hour just letting nature run its course, lol

The one-size-fits-all production layout worked like a charm- the only big hiccup was, as mentioned, forgetting to upgrade some depots and then wondering why all 3 cities were constantly starved of nanocarbon towards the end, lol

Cool game, one of the more enjoyable automation games out this year. I think the only critique I have in terms of mechanics is farming being as obtuse as it is, because everything else straddles a relatively comfy place in between an approachable automation and colony sim game. I'm not opposed to the concept of needing a ton of land - it's just that it comes out of the blue, even with the notification to plant more trees (at which point it's likely too late and you're stuck waiting for O2 to rise, lol)
