Plan Ribom-B! - Pokemon Unbound: S3 Insane Bugs Only - Part 4
1I have decided this isn't where our story ends! I have come up with a plan! Ribombee is an unbelievably fast pokemon for this stage of the game and it has the status move stun spore. All I need to do is paralyze all the dark gum leaders pokemon then get a few Paralysis procs and I win?!? Actually, ribombee also has a few other advantages beyond this. Drain kiss is a super effective special move that can counter the effects of the gym by keeping your health topped up, whilst being impervious to attack drops caused by being burnt by spiritomb. The only issue, their ace which in my research, I found had magic bounce, an ability that reflects status moves back on the user. So I needed a different strat to beat this speed demon with a high attack stat... and then it hit me, I can use a pokemon I have never once though of using....
