Made for the itch.io 2018 Summer Awful Jam (https://itch.io/jam/awful-summer-jam-2018) under the theme of "unnecessary sequels". As someone who knows zilch about Plants vs. Zombies, this ain't bad! The hand-drawn art style gives it a quirky edge, and the weed alien is an invaluable addition to the PvZ universe.
Strategies can only be so complex given how there's all of two units at your disposal, but navigating the fog-of-war to find the best places to fortify gives it a unique style, and every level's got a distinct layout to approach. The zombie houses are perhaps the toughest threat of all, though, purely because of how many zombies they spawn at a time, making it tricky for your Peashooters to hit the real target.
