A simple little platform with an artful, musical aesthetic, aplomb in interesting textures and ambient jingles. Tewgo is gifted various musical instruments throughout his quest, used on their appropriately-coloured pedestals to accomplish certain environmental effects, such as raising platforms, extending bridges, freezing or unfreezing water, or even protecting himself from harm.
It's very light on challenge, and toggling instruments is largely unnecessary when they can only be used in their designated areas, but it's a pleasant journey. The introduction of the teleport ability is when it gets a little trickier, requiring you know when and where to use it to access toggle pedestals to clear the road ahead. It's possible to get soft-locked without a means of resetting to checkpoint if you're unlucky, requiring you to reset the game.
The game has no extra lives, so collecting 75 masks (its stand-in for coins) will allow you to skip a level... an accessibility feature that loses it usefulness when you consider: 1) you can't exit a level once you've entered, so you can't decide this is the level you want to skip. 2) Using a password will reset your mask count to 0, so you can't keep them between sessions. And 3) this also skips the story scene associated with the level, so you're missing out on drip-fed plot!
Its presentation is very pretty, though, and the quirky aesthetic and presentation of its story and world-building makes it a pleasant little experience.
