What do you know... This game was one of my oldest video game playthrough videos on this platform back in the day. I looked and realized it was 15 years ago when I posted my little run of this game that now has 12K views on the first part because that was a time before I was allowed to post over 10 minutes at a time lmao ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h8CLWkHII04 ). Back when all I had was the original hardware and a crappy little Dazzle capture device. Anyways, this is current day, and a lot of stuff is indeed quite different from back then in bumble beginnings, but that doesn't mean that we can't enjoy older games still, so I decided to do a little anniversary run of this Capcom game that's been lost to the sands of time, but this time with modern enhancements like wide-screen support.... and a view that doesn't look like 144p lol (yes, I'm aware the graphics for this game were old even back in the day, let alone downright primitive now, but its the thought that counts).
When I first played this game, I didn't know or understand enough about how to play in regards to the counter system, so that's kind of funny comparing how I was back then to now in this game. I also didn't play well enough to get Ele's true ending back then, which I managed to do first try here.
I plan on doing a run with Ele's mum, June after this (including the original Star Gladiator too, which I admit I've never actually played before). Should be an interesting detour from modern game stuff.
