On this video, we are testing how Alan Wake II plays on the ROG Ally. The verdict, it plays very well and is fun to play on the ROG Ally.

00:00 Title Screen
00:18 Graphical Settings
00:38 Start of Gameplay, fighting the Taken.
01:38 First cutscene, sipping coffee.
01:58 End of my commentary.
02:38 Start of Gameplay, he has no heart.
03:38 Start of Gameplay, walking around town.
04:38 Start of Gameplay, fighting the Taken.

Note that we captured the video using an elgato HD60X external capture card which captures it on the Native 1080p resolution. The colors captured by the capture card do not seem to reflect the colors on the actual ROG Ally screen and appear a little darker. The actual colors on the ROG Ally screen pop out, are beautiful and bright, that no capture card could represent accurately. Additionally, the capture could be creating a screen tear that you don't see on the ROG Ally screen itself. Additionally, any choppiness on the video where you do not see a slowdown on the FPS, was most likely caused by the video capture card and not the gameplay itself. The ROG Ally was docked on a the JSAUX dock during this capture, but we still used the ROG Ally controls to play the game.
