Lots of new stuff, this is now a functional art program! Select and copy-paste chunks of tiles, rotate/fip characters, type characters directly onto the art, export to PNG with alpha, and more. Next on the roadmap, a menu bar and layer / animation timeline view. That clears the way for March to be for-reals game development time...

If you'd like to try out an early, in-dev version of Playscii you can download Windows EXE builds here:

Or you can run Playscii from source on Linux, Windows, and possibly OSX(?) if you have Python and the necessary submodules installed. See the readme file for details.
