In this video we continue our practice with the DC-6 with an IFR approach into Nome, Alaska. Low cloud cover means we will be flying the approach with instruments (and, unintentionally, with one engine out!). The theory, procedure and requirements are the exact same as if we were visual with the runway. Do we get it right? Almost, it was a bit bumpy, but any landing you can walk away from is a good landing! Especially with an engine out (as usual my Perception is 0)
