Pocket Kingdom - Own the World Game Sample: N-Gage

A long, relatively sloooow-paced strategy game, but one of the best games for the N-Gage. The game boasts 100 different units, lots of adventure, and over 50,000 items (of course through combining materials and giving items properties, etc.). The game looks pretty good for an N-Gage title (though the colors didn't come out as well in this game due to the display, which is why some earlier N-Gage videos looked better), has decent music, and a fair deal of gameplay, though the approach is incredibly systemic. For example, items with a rarity of "one" sell for 100 Loot and cost 200 Loot, items with a rarity of "two" sell for 200 Loot and cost 400 Loot, etc. Several characters are promoted with the same items as well, though they will obviously become a different class. Characters can get promoted many times and promotions are certainly the key to victory, though positioning and equipment certainly helps.
The game stands out from most other games with its dialogue. Ever walk into an Internet chatroom where people talk like "OMG! You got pwned NOOB!" or "Don't be a griefer! Griefers are whack! You keep messin' with me and I'll wreck yer mum!". Probably. Now imagine that this game thrives on Internet lingo and slang (even the "Offline" mode). Yeah, it's like that. Its appeal and mileage varies. I think it's funny for a little while, but I only play the game in small doses. Considering that "small doses" is more than I play most N-Gage games, I suppose that's a compliment. Anyway, it's a great N-Gage game. Enjoy.
