PoE - Tired? Spice Things Up With a Fresh Hideout (Import/Export Guide) [#PoEHack #15]
10Hey exile, have you ever seen a nice hideout that you want to use yourself? Chances are that you can find it on hideoutshowcase.com. This video is not sponsored, I just really like the website.
1. Simply go to the website and find a hideout you enjoy. I like to use the search function in the top right and set my filters to "does not use any mtx" and pick one of my favorite base hideouts, for example the glacial hideout. Usually, you will find a couple of screenshots on the hideout's site to double check if it's style appeals to you.
2. Allright so let's say that you want to use the demonic hideout. Go to downloads and download the file. Afterwards you want to place this file in the Path of Exile folder where you used to place your loot filters. For windows the path is usually documents / my games / path of exile.
3. Now, jump into the game and travel to you hideout. I like to make a save copy of my current hideout at this point in case something goes wrong by bringing up the hideout options, clicking the export button and saving the hideout.
4. Unfortunately, you must change your base hideout in case the old and the new one donβt use the same base hideout. Hopefully GGG will make this easier in the future but for now you can change base hideouts by talking to Helena.
5. After everything is setup, you can finally import the new hideout. Click import, select the new hideout and here you go, enjoy your new style.
