Video quality is crap for a number of reasons. I was also kinda falling asleep while recording so the transitions to the next matches after Aya and Komachi are a bit slow. Also if the screen turns dark for a second, that's because I left it alone for too long without moving the mouse.

Not that I really expect anyone to watch the whole freaking video.

But anyway, this is me playing PoFV against the AI in versus mode on Lunatic. Using Reimu, I've managed to beat every character in the game. I'll try to put down links to the start time of each match, and maybe say a bit about my strategy and stuff.

0:04 - Reimu
She's one of the easiest opponents because of how slow she is. Generally, anyone with a speed rating of less than 4 stars can be overwhelmed by just spamming level 2 spells.

4:58 - Marisa
Probably one of the hardest to beat, though she wasn't as bad as I feared she'd be. (Everything's a lot easier in match mode than it is in story mode.) My goal against fast characters like this is to limit my use of level 2's as much as possible. Use too many, and the match gets out of hand with both characters recharging too quickly, and the AI effectively becomes invulnerable. As long as you can avoid that though, Marisa's ability to fill her gauge doesn't seem to help her enough to make a big difference, and if she bombs, you still have time to nail her with a level 3 before she recovers.

12:17 - Sakuya
This match, along with the ones against Reisen, Merlin, and Komachi, was done about a year ago, so I don't really remember it all that well. Sakuya's a slow character though, so she's another easy one.

17:21 - Youmu
Youmu was perhaps the most difficult of them all. Only Eiki was on the same level. My strategy here was basically the usual "don't use level 2's, use level 3's when the AI's gauge is low," but Youmu's attacks are hard to deal with, and she seems unusually hard to hit, even for a fast character. I suspect her slow charge speed actually helps her out, since she can't easily charge it all the way up and waste all of her energy.

25:03 - Reisen
You really need to be careful with limiting the number of reflectable bullets flying around. Fortunately, Reisen's attacks are trivial to avoid so she's pretty easy to beat without using any level 2's.

29:46 - Cirno
And this is what I mean about the game getting out of hand. Cirno makes it happen so easily that I basically just resigned to it, and so the first round took 7 minutes. Against most characters, you're screwed if this happens, since it's just too hard to survive, but since Cirno is so easy, you can still win by just lasting a really long time. I lucked out in the third round and won before shit got crazy, otherwise it could've taken just as long as the first round, or longer, assuming I stayed alive.

41:51 - Lyrica
Her attacks can be hard to dodge, but she's slow, so you don't really have to worry about holding back.

47:16 - Merlin
Another one from a year ago. I probably played a lot more defensively than I had to. Merlin just collapses if you throw a bunch of level 2's at her, so just go all in and she can't take the pressure.

53:31 - Lunasa
Nothing too special. She's a bit like Reisen I guess, though maybe a bit harder to deal with since it's her boss attack that creates lots of slow bullets rather than her spells. She's still very easy to survive against so you can just turtle it out.

1:01:12 - Mystia
Somehow, I beat Mystia on my first try, so I don't really have much to say about her. I don't think she's too dangerous in general.

1:09:03 - Tewi
Again, nothing particularly fancy going on. She's pretty easy.

1:14:13 - Aya
Because of how fast everything is, it's easy to keep the match under control. Her speed doesn't really seem to help her out too much either. She seems about as hard to hit as any other high speed character.

1:23:29 - Medicine
Here's another tough one. She's not so bad if you can keep things calm, but if things get crazy, all hope is lost.

1:27:55 - Yuuka
A cakewalk. She's way too slow to handle Reimu's attacks, so as soon as things pick up she folds like a house of cards. I beat her without taking any damage here.

1:30:54 - Komachi
Another old one. This was actually the first time I ever managed to win a Lunatic match with Reimu. While Komachi's attacks are pretty dangerous, she also slow, so she'll lose pretty quickly. She's probably the hardest of the slow characters, but still pretty doable.

1:35:24 - Eiki
Death on a pogo stick. Fast character, fast bullets. Easily the hardest to survive against. As I said before, she and Youmu are on a whole other level when compared to everyone else.
