In the practice of federalism in India and Belgium -
* One similar feature is that in both the countries, central government and state government (regional government) exists - and central government shares the power with regional or state governments. Their jurisdiction in the matters of legislation, administration and taxation are clearly specified. * One different feature is that in Belgium, there is also a provision of typical community government. On the other hand, there is nothing like community government in India. Here, a third tier of federalism was added in the form I of Panchayats and municipalities.
