What is the main difference between a federal form of government and a unitary one? Explain with an example.
* In the federal form of government, although, power is shared between the central government and the state governments, but the ceniral government cannot order the state government to do something. It can simply issue an advisory to the state governments. Forexample, in India, power is divided between the union government and the state governments on the basis of three list provided in the constitution. * On the other hand, in a unitary form of government, either these is only one level of government or the sub-units under the subordination of central government which has all IIf the, power and also can order the state
