In this Skul the Hero Slayer video, I'll be using Dominator once again, with a Poison centered strategy! Dominator is the newest skull added to the game, and an instant fan favorite. His strategy centers around using his skills, which are powerful in their own right, to allow him to build up a passive meter that once filled allows him to transform into a new form. This form cannot cast skills, but has the fastest basic attack in the game by a lot, so fast that there is practically no cooldown between swings. This makes Dominator an especially good abuser of on-basic attack proccing items such as Evil Sword: Kirion, Bone of Swiftness, Mana Gauntlet, and so forth. However, this run doesn't focus on that, but a mixture of Poison and Crit Items. Poison has long been the reigning champ of offensive statuses, and in my opinion maintains that title. It's extremely consistent thanks to a lot of the powerful Poison items being in the rare pool, especially poison spread items like Inner Malice, Disposable Syringe, and Decayed Heart. The trick with Poison is to make sure you always have a high physical damage%, cause it scales entirely from your damage, moreso than the other statuses even which scale more off of item effects. Crit Items are also here, with a duped Gunpowder Sword alongside Thief's Blacksteel Daggers to make sure we're critting often. Essentially, this run comes down to death by not even a thousand paper cuts, or even a million, but a mother hubbing BILLION paper cuts! That's the run for today, Dominator, Poison, and Crit Items. Joined by Recruit, who is very powerful in his own right, can this dynamic duo overcome the worst possible thing that can happen to a Skul run: a low roll on the door count?
