*HELPING YOU HELP ME*

The good ol' orange team. I'm not sure about the future of these guys, but they've served me well up to this point. They're really fun to use, and George may have some new orange Pokemon to play with in Gen. 5!

Solrock - Rockstar - Earthquake, Rock Polish, Zen Headbutt, Rock Slide

So I love Solrock. It's one of the reasons why I'm disappointed I missed out on Gen. 3 when it was new. This guy used to be one of Monica's, and it was a Trick Roomer as well. Here, however, speed is the name of its game. Special moves are not Solrock's friends. With so many weaknesses too, it may seem like it'd be hard to set up, but this is why it's on a doubles team and not standing alone in singles. Earthquake may seem a bit careless, but keep reading. I have ways of avoiding it.

Dragonite - Puff - Aqua Tail, Dragon Dance, Ice Punch, Dragon Rush

Yep, a Dragon Dancer. Sorry to those of you who don't care for this set, but I enjoy it. I chose Dragon Rush over Outrage because...well...I can choose who I want to hit really. I know it's not as strong, and it's inaccurate, but I just don't care for Outrage for its randomness. I could go in so many directions with this one, and if I ever use Dragonite again, I'll probably play around with lots of different moves. By the way...why is Dragonite suddenly so unpopular on PBR? I never see it anymore!

Crawdaunt - Vice - Night Slash, Crabhammer, X-Scissor, Dragon Dance

Dragon Dance was an excellent new move for Crawdaunt, and I couldn't wait to try it out. It was such a welcome addition that Crawdaunt is more fun now than ever to use. The movepool isn't enormous, but it covers a lot of ground. I made sure to choose the best moves to make him a physical sweeper, and so far, he's done pretty well!

Infernape - Brimmly - Focus Blast, Role Play, Heat Wave, Taunt

I tried to avoid using Infernape to be honest because I see it so often, and I personally don't like it, so I had to come up with a set that I knew I'd enjoy using despite the Pokemon. It's a bit gimmicky, but it works. I haven't used Role Play yet, but I'm waiting for that match where I team Infernape up with Solrock against two Pokemon weak to Earthquake. It should be fun throwing the opponent off.

Raichu - Rachael - Nasty Plot, Protect, Grass Knot, Thunderbolt

I can't remember which battle it was, but those of you who saw it know that after one Nasty Plot, Raichu can tear up the field. Unfortunately, it's one of those Electric-types without a humongous movepool...especially where special moves are concerned. I was a bit limited with my choices, yet I still had trouble choosing between Grass Knot and Focus Blast. I landed on Grass Knot. I haven't had to use it yet, but I haven't been in many situations where Focus Blast would've helped either...especially since Infernape already knows the move.

Delcatty - Mindy - Fake Out, Helping Hand, Protect, Toxic

I doubt anyone would ever think to Taunt a Delcatty on impulse, but this girl is just asking for it. I hope it never happens. I had a tough time figuring out what to do with Delcatty. I've always wanted to use one, but it's really not especially good at anything in particular. She isn't the best candidate for Toxic, but if she's used late game, she could stall out the opponent depending on what it is. She's mostly there for assistance though, and that's often good enough.

In this battle, I face Darkrai and Mewtwo right off the bat. Ugh. That "ugh" is mostly directed towards Darkrai as Mewtwo isn't always so bad. I knew Darkrai would be a lead which is why I sent in Infernape, however I bet I pissed Dydy off with Infernape because he was intent on knocking him out. Good thing...because having Delcatty around to lend some paws to Crawdaunt helped me tremendously.

I chose - Delcatty, Infernape, Crawdaunt, and Solrock

Dydy chose - Mewtwo, Darkrai, Froslass, and Kingdra
