After beating the Elite Four, a secret area can be found on Route 214 which leads to Sendoff Spring, and there is an area known as Turnback Cave which has several rooms, and when you have to find three pillars in 30 rooms, and this leads to a Legendary Pokémon called Giratina, a Ghost/Dragon-type Legendary Pokémon.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

I show off another area you can access after beating the Elite Four, on Route 214, there is the Spring Path, which leads to Sendoff Spring, and it leads to Turnback Cave, which is a very tricky area, what you have to do is go through several rooms, and there are three pillars you must find within 30 rooms, and it is random for the pillar to appear.
Once you have found three pillars in 30 rooms, Giratina will be waiting there. This is a Ghost/Dragon-type Pokémon, and its moves are Shadow Force, Pain Split, Aura Sphere, and Dragon Claw, it is a defensive Pokémon with a lot of HP. When Giratina uses Shadow Force, if you have a Normal-type Pokémon, you can switch that in so it doesn't do anything, and it can use Pain Split to restore some of its own HP. Dusk Balls work the best there, and I recommend inflicting paralysis or sleep onto Giratina to make catching it a bit easier.
As for stats, Giratina is very defensive, and it is the only Pokémon to learn Shadow Force, well not counting that Banette you fight on Route 228 with the Vs. Seeker which can't normally learn Shadow Force. Giratina can use Hex and Will-O-Wisp to good use, it can learn Roar, which can pair well with entry hazards like Spikes or Stealth Rock set up by its teammates, and it is immune to Rapid Spin, which is very helpful, so it's a very solid Pokémon in battle.
When you have caught Giratina, when you go through Turnback Cave again, you can get an item in the room it once was, if you went through three rooms, you can get a Reaper Cloth, 4 to 15 rooms, you can get a Rare Bone, and 16 to 30 rooms, you get a Stardust, and it does reappear each time you go through Turnback Cave.
One thing you can do after catching Giratina, you can buy a Distortion Slate at Ramanas Park, you need to have caught Regirock, Regice, and Registeel in the Discovery Room in order to buy it. This will allow you to access the Distortion Room, which kind of resembles the Distortion World from Platinum, once you inset the Distortion Slate, you get brought to a battle with a Level 100 shadowy Giratina in its Origin Forme, and I like its battle theme, and it was good they remastered it into this game.
You cannot catch this Giratina, and its moves are Earth Power, Aura Sphere, Dragon Claw, and Destiny Bond, it can be tricky as it is Level 100, so if you have moves like Toxic, you can use that to slowly weaken it until it is down. After beating Giratina, you can get a Griseous Orb, this allows you to access Giratina's Origin Forme, which is the more offensive out of Giratina's two Formes, and it can learn some good moves like Draco Meteor, Shadow Ball, Thunderbolt, Psychic, Calm Mind, Energy Ball, Earthquake, Stone Edge, and many other moves, and the Griseous Orb also boosts the power of Giratina's Ghost and Dragon-type moves when held, this pairs up very well with its Origin Forme's higher attacking stats.
