After reporting to Commander Kamado, I then encounter a girl at night talking about the wisps that are all around Hisui, and then I am given my next objective, and it is to explore a new area called Crimson Mirelands. I then accept some requests along the way.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

I have done some Pokémon catching offscreen, and after reporting to Cyllene, you can go up a rank, and it is possible to reach the highest rank if you are dedicated enough. You gain the ability to use more better Poké Balls, the Heavy Balls don't fly far, but are good for catching Pokémon if you are close to them, the better variants are the Leaden Ball and Gigaton Ball, while the Feather Ball flies very far, good for catching Pokémon that are far away, their better variants are the Wing Ball and Jet Ball.
After reporting to Kamado, you find a girl named Vessa, who tells you about there being 107 wisps all around Hisui, the ones in Jubilife Village are easy to spot, and I will wait till much later to get all of them.
The next day, you encounter Mars of Team Galactic, well not really, she is Arezu of the Diamond Clan, she looks very much like Mars. I then find the Ginkgo Guild members Ginter and Tuli, Ginter sells items to you, like Evolution Stones, and he can even sell rare items like Black Augurite, and I do show how to evolve Scyther into Kleavor in this video. Tuli sells items, and there is a new type of Berry called the Hopo Berry, which restores PP when used. I have read that Ginter is meant to resemble Volkner, the Gym Leader of Sunyshore City in the present time, and I never went over this, Commander Kamado is rumoured to be the ancestor of Professor Rowan.
I then accept some quests, and some of them requests you to catch Pokémon that can be found in Crimson Mirelands, the one from Anthe requests you to catch both a male and female Hippopotas. Next is a quest from Choy, his request is to find three Hearty Grains, they can be found in Crimson Mirelands. There is a balloon popping minigame at Prelude Beach where you have to throw Poké Balls to pop the balloons, and I do like how they use Drifloon-themed balloons, and the Shiny Drifloon give more points.
Next is a request from Shinon, you then have to talk to Anise, and she requests you to find a Pokémon that have three leaves on its head, and you can encounter that Pokémon in Crimson Mirelands, and it's not a Pokémon in the Sinnoh Dex in Diamond & Pearl, it is a Pokémon that did not exist in Gen 4. There is a request from Miller, where he will borrow one of your Ground-type Pokémon to help with the fields, you should have a Geodude to give to him, and you can swap out for another Pokémon, so it's not permanently gone from your pastures.
The request from Bellamy is where you have to show him a Pokémon with high Friendship, and he is the Friendship checker of this game. Sho's quest has you giving him five Poké Balls. There is Dagero, for that quest, you have to show him a Pokémon in the photo, in this case, it is a Buneary, which you can find in The Heartwood.
The quest from Yota requires you to have caught a Ponyta, and for that quest, there is a guaranteed Shiny Ponyta you can catch, talk to Yota to complete the request, and I have seen rumours that Professor Laventon is actually from Galar, as Yota does reference Galarian Ponyta in some way.
Andra has a quest, and you need to have caught a Mr. Mime, and for that one, you have to try and approach a Mr. Mime that has entered the village many times, it can be tricky with the invisible walls. Next is Morel's quest, you have to give him a Parasect to complete that one, you can find Parasect in Crimson Mirelands.
I then show where to buy Charms, talk to Lucille, and you can buy them, some of them have good effects, like losing less items, stay in good health, and others, they can be really helpful to have.
After talking to Kamado, Cyllene gives you the next task, and when you get to the gate, you have to battle Rei or Akari, in this case, it is Rei, he has a Mime Jr. and a Pikachu, he shouldn't be too difficult if you have adjusted your team for that fight. After the battle, Rei gives you the recipe for Stealth Sprays, those are like the Repels of this game where if you use them, it will decrease the chances of Pokémon noticing you.
I then show off a mass outbreak, what that is it that multiple Pokémon of the same species can be found in one area, this can be a good way to fill in your Research Level for that Pokémon, as not only do you have to catch them, but you have to defeat them with certain type of moves or catch it at a specific time of day, and I have read that there is a good chance of finding a Shiny Pokémon through mass outbreaks.
