Our journey in the Orre Region with Wes and Rui (aka Weblomi and 8675309) in Pokemon Colosseum on the Nintendo GameCube continues! With the Shadow Pokemon Lab explored and taken down, Ein has fled, meaning we have taken down all of the Cipher Admins!... at least, so I thought. It turns out that Cipher have their team out in the deserts of Orre - what was once the Construction Lot has transformed into the grand Realgam Tower - the hub of Cipher's machinations and battling center. There seems to be a lot to do here - Cipher Peons aplenty, but also, the return of familiar faces with much stronger teams. I'm a little scard.
This is, in my opinion, one of the best Pokemon RPGs that Nintendo have ever brought out, and it's not even a mainline game! Double battles, Johto Pokemon, the ability to steal (or snag) Pokemon, and a story that leans much more into traditional JRPG themes and audiences made Pokemon Colosseum a certified GCN classic, and one that will never be forgotten. Hopefully the Nintendo Switch will be able to provide some kind of remake, remaster or even a sequel to this game and Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness... one can hope, hey!
In this video, we'll be starting our journey in Realgam Tower after we finish up teaching our team a couple of new moves. With Granbull and Flygon added as new members to the squad, we'll be looking to take down their whole operation! Once we arrive in Realgam Tower, we'll be taking on some old foes - both Miror B. and Dakim are here with new teams and new motives. We need to access the rest of the tower and we need a selection of keys to do so, all of which are held by the Cipher Admins of the past. With these keys, we may finally be able to stop these Pokemon designed to have their heart sealed and attack humans. We need to eradicate this horror as soon as possible. We know how to purify them, so taking down Realgam Tower is our new mission. Let's see how today's episode goes!
