Pokemon Gold Version - GBC playthrough part 54 (recorded 2023-09-16)
0This take was played on a RetroArch emulator with a PS5 controller.
I have a copy of the game for Game Boy Color but got a new gaming PC and wanted to test how well everything plays on it for convenience.
This is just a full playthrough with the game's audio only and no commentary.
My goal in this playthrough is to catch an unused copy of every Pokemon possible in the wild to back up in PkHex.
During this part I continued from the route east of Fuchsia City with my Pokedex at 219. I rode the bicycle around to increase the friendship levels of Togepi and the two Eevee. I evolved the cloned Togepi into Togetic so I could breed it and get a new Togepi with its own unique stats to eventually become a minimally used Togetic. I also evolved one of the Eevee into Umbreon.
I saved at the Mt. Silver Pokemon Center with my Pokedex at 221.
At the end of the video I altered the time on my computer so I could evolve the other Eevee into Espeon in the next video.
