Pokemon Hall of Fame - Gym Leader 2 : Daisy
13Man, this fight is really annoying. I mean, Pichu is supposed to be a nightmare for an aquatic team, it was just an amusement in this fight. One ThunderShock is nothing compared to Seel's Water Pulse...an electric attack does nothing against a water-type pokemon and an aqua attack does rampage against it, wtf ? Pichu is such a pain OMG, when does it will evolve into Pikachu ? Nidoran didn't evolve either, it was supposed to evolve at lvl 15...
Anyways, a good point for me is that Seel and Dewgong are ice type eather, so Mankey is usefull in this fight too. At this point of the game you can have many interesting pokemons and not only Pidgeys or Rattata, but with equal level, the efficacity of the attacks are just unbalanced. Those pokemons are way too powerfull and the grass-type resistance is useless because of the ice moves.
Just one thing to say : THANKS GYARADOS OMG. You can obtain it in Mt Moon, in a meet with Misty, so don't buy that dumbass Magikarp for 500 Poke$...it's useless.
Gyarados is Dragon/Water in this game...instead of Water/Fly, so Water Pulse is a joke for him since both of those types are resistant against water moves.
I wasn't really prepared for this fight anyway.
