I check out Totodile's stats and natures immediately after getting it. I only accept a Lonely or Naugthy Totodile with an Attack stat of 13 and a Speed stat of 10. I reset if this isn't the case.
This is also the only time I battle wild Pokémon. This is to train my Totodile to a decent level. I also check the stats after each level up if they add up right. I save on different spots too and a lot more for better results
