Pokémon Platinum Speed Run Segment 21
3There is one last fight with my rival before facing the Elite 4. I used my Max Ether to restore Earthquake PP in the previous segment. Bidoof took Staraptors Intimidate and I also needed a X-Speed to outspeed some of my rivals Pokémon. U-Turn is an attack Starapor can't use and Torterra finished it off with Rock Slide. Heracross is also a OHKO with Rock Slide, but I need a X-Attack and Heracross must use Close Combat to lower its defense. The rest of my rivals Pokémon are OHKO'd by Torterra.
Next up I healed up my Pokémon and entered the door to the Elite 4. Aaron is the first member and can be tricky because of his Bug Pokémon. Torterra is faster than Yanmega and OHKO'd it with Rock Slide. Then I used a X-Speed and OHKO'd Vespiquen. Rock Slide missed his Heracross, but it was flinched for the next turn. This way I could safely 2HKO it. Drapion and Scizor were both OHKO'd. Drapion was also the reason I used a X-Speed. Then I healed Torterra up and saved before the next battle.
