Pokémon Heart Gold Speed Run Segment 16 Part 1
1It's time to battle the Kimono Girls. We start with Umbreon and it's annoying that Waterfall is not a 2HKO. Espeon is a OHKO with Crunch, but it's faster. Flareon is easy to deal with, but Jolteon is very dangerous. I need to heal up and only if Flareon uses Quick Attack the next turn, Feraligatr can survive a Thunderbolt from Jolteon. Then I can OHKO it with a Surf in Torrent Range. Vaporeon is a 3HKO with Slash or Crunch after I healed again.
Then I entered the Bell Tower (not Tin Tower). The tower is not that hard, you just need to know where you're going. I took a small detour to get a Rare Candy. Here you can see another reason I resetted a few times: glitching up. I would reset here too, but the battle with the Kimono Girls was the best ever I got. So I decided to show this because sometimes the rom glitched up at the most inconvenient times and then I reset. I splitted the segment up right when I would go to the rooftop.
