The reason to save before Wally is to be safe. If something goes wrong, I would need to redo the previous segment again. Both Altaria and Roselia are easy OHKO's with Ice Beam. During a previous run, Roselia would survive Ice Beam because back then I had a lower Special Attack IV. Now that's a godly 31, so Roselia is a certain OHKO.
Delcatty and Magneton are OHKO's with Brick Break and Earthquake. Gardevoir needs to be 2HKO'd. I could have used a X-Attack here, but I still would have to deal with Double Team most likely. Then I go into the final building and bought 10 Full Restores to be safe. Then I healed up and saved right before Sidney. I'll give each Elite 4 a segment because of the randomness of the battles and Swamperts low level.
