I didn't need to catch a Spearow or Pidgey anymore, but I still needed to dodge the walking Lass quickly and I merged both Mt. Moon segments. My movement needed to be perfect to get past the walking Lass in Mt. Moon without stopping and I picked up the Rare Candy. The rocket spinner could be annoying and I wanted to get an attack up against the required one. I finally did and I could now 2HKO Zubat and Rattata barely didn't put Charmander into Blaze after it evolved.
Grimer needed to use Pound and it did, but it could also cause poison with two moves. I used Blaze Ember to OHKO Koffing and Voltorb that are no longer damage ranges. I got the useless, but holy Helix Fossil and I taught Charmeleon Mega Punch and Mega Kick. I healed up in the Cerulean center and I skipped the Rare Candy here like in my previous run. I forgot were the menu cursor was at the end, so I panicked and I lost several seconds. This was by far the worst menu mistake and I didn't reset, since this was a perfect segment.

Saved at 0:21 with a L17 Charmeleon.
