Pokémon Legends: Arceus Playthrough Part 11
2I go back to the Ancient Retreat to report to Corgita (1:50) where she sends us on a fetch quest to obtain three logs of wood. Unfortunately, I haven’t collected them on my playthrough, so I spend time going to the Obsidean Fieldlands in search of them. After spending some time there looking for them (and catching some Pokémon), I find enough and go back to Corgita (32:03) where in return, she gives us the Pixie Plate. She then has us go to the Celestica Ruins in Coronet Highlands to look for more clues (36:29) where Volo talks about Giratina and Arceus, then tells us to meet him at the Temple of Sinnoh (45:43).
After finding him, he reveals that he was behind the space-time rift forming causing the issues with the different Lords, all so he could try to meet Arceus, so we battle him (48:10). His team is pretty much a copy of his descendant’s, with Milotic being swapped out for Hisuian Arcanine. His regular team isn’t too hard to beat with my current team, but the moment when Giratina arrives (54:31) is when I start to have trouble due to you not being allowed to heal between battles, effectively making this a 6v8 battle. I do some grinding offscreen and bring in Palkia, Cresselia, and Regigigas to have a better chance, then rematch Volo (1:01:33), having a much easier time with his team, Giratina (1:07:15), and Giratina Origin Forme (1:09:11).
After defeating it (1:11:02), Volo reveals that they were the one who caused DIalga and Palkia too, then gives us the Spooky Plate, which is the final plate, allowing the Celestica Flute to transform into the Azure Flute. As Volo walks away, we are given the final overall mission, The Deified Pokémon (1:14:33), which can only be completed once you catch all Pokémon in the Hisui region. Just to see what would happen, I play the Azure Flute (1:14:50), then head back to Jubilife. There, I get a message (1:16:41) about a shadow headed to the to the Cobalt Coastlands, so I go back to the Turnback Cave to find Giratina (1:25:51). After easily catching it (1:27:10), I get the Griseous Core and report back to Professor Laventon (1:29:54). I go back to the Team Galaxy Headquarters where I meet Corgita (1:31:45) who gives info on where to find the Forces of Nature, then I save.
