I have beaten the Elite Four, but there is one more Trainer left to face, and it is my Rival, and I like how Professor Oak showed up after beating Lance, and I liked that moment where Professor Oak was going to be the final opponent, which is a reference to the Professor Oak fight that never happened in the original games, even though there was data on it. It is time to decide who will become the Champion of the Pokémon League in the final fight.

As the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description.

I like the Champion Battle theme in this game, probably one of the best battle songs in this game. At least Trace isn't as hard as Blue was in the original games, because Blue's highest Level Pokémon was at Level 65, which is quite high, but in this game, Trace's starter is at Level 57. Here is his team and the moves, don't like how even the Champion has three moves.
Pidgeot: Quick Attack, Air Slash, Heat Wave
Vileplume: Solar Beam, Reflect, Sludge Bomb
Marowak: Fire Punch, Bonemerang, Brick Break
Rapidash: Flare Blitz, Quick Attack, Poison Jab
Slowbro: Psychic, Surf, Light Screen
Jolteon: Thunder, Quick Attack, Pin Missile (Let's Go, Pikachu!)
Raichu: Thunder, Quick Attack, Iron Tail (Let's Go, Eevee!)

Depending on your game, he will have either Jolteon or Raichu, and one thing to note is that his Pidgeot will Mega Evolve at the start of the battle. When I first played this game and got to the Champion Battle, I was surprised by that, because in previous games, most Trainers save their Pokémon that can Mega Evolve for last, but in this battle, my Rival started with his Mega Evolution. Mega Pidgeot has high Speed and Special Attack, and that Air Slash flinch can be annoying, and Heat Wave provides coverage against Ice and Steel-types, unless you have a speedy Electric-type, or Pikachu's Zippy Zap can take out Pidgeot.
Vileplume isn't that tough, as you should have a Fire, Flying or Psychic-type to take it out, Marowak should go down with a Water or Grass-type move, Rapidash isn't too threatening, but Flare Blitz can hurt for a lot of damage, Slowbro has Light Screen, so if you didn't take out Slowbro in one hit, it can weaken any damage from Special moves. As for his last Pokémon, a Ground-type can make quick work of Jolteon or Raichu, that Thunder can deal a lot of damage if you don't have anything that resists Electric-type moves.
After beating the Rival, it is time to enter the Hall of Fame, but there are some things that happen after beating the game, and I do like the credits music in this game, this game has a good soundtrack, and despite how limited your options are, only having the original 151 Pokémon, it's still a good game, and even though the mid-point of the game had some challenging fights, I feel like the Elite Four was easier than in the original games.
