The next place is Great Canyon, which is where the Hill of the Ancients is located, which is what Alakazam had suggested us to go to in order to find Xatu and learn about how Bulbasaur went from a human to a Pokémon.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

The next dungeon, Great Canyon, has a variety of types, mostly ranging from Normal, Grass, and Flying-types, and it has 12 floors, and the summit is known as the Hill of the Ancients, where is where Xatu should be located, so we take Alakazam's suggestion to see Xatu at the Hill of the Ancients.
As for Pokémon in Great Canyon, you can encounter Doduo, Skiploom, Vileplume, Phanpy, Dunsparce, Breloom, Cacturne, Murkrow, Heracross, Ariados, Houndoom, and Tauros. These Pokémon can quite tough, I will list what moves they can have, starting with Doduo, which can know Fury Attack, Skiploom can inflict status conditions with the powder moves, Dunsparce can know Rollout, which is a devastating move, and Screech to harshly lower your Defense. Phanpy does also know Rollout, but it does has Flail, which can really hurt if Phanpy is low on health, Vileplume is a strong Pokémon at this point, and it knows Mega Drain, which can really hurt if you have anything weak to Grass-type moves. Breloom has Stun Spore and Leech Seed, and it can use Mach Punch, so it has range from two tiles away, and it is a tough opponent if you didn't bring any Flying-type Pokémon with you. Cacturne is a tough opponent, it can use some powerful moves like Needle Arm and Feint Attack, and it can use Payback, which acts like Counter in this game where Cacturne can send damage from Physical attacks back at you. It can also use Spiky Shield to give it protection, but you can take damage if you use any contact moves while Spiky Shield is in effect. Murkrow's Wing Attack can hurt anything weak to Flying-type moves, so having a good Rock or Electric-type attack can help in taking it down. Heracross is a fierce foe, it can use Bullet Seed and Arm Thrust, and it can also use Night Slash and Aerial Ace, so this is a Pokémon that can easily take out one of your Pokémon if you are not prepared to fight it. Ariados has some disruptive moves, its Bug Bite can eat any of your food items, and it can also use moves like Night Shade and Infestation, and it can use Swords Dance, and if it has Fell Stinger, Ariados will gain a huge Attack boost if it knocks out one of your Pokémon with Fell Stinger. Houndoom is a terrifying opponent for any Grass-types, it can use Inferno, while inaccurate, that move has a 100% chance of burning the target, and if boosted by Nasty Plot, this will boost the power of Inferno, Houndoom does have Thunder Fang to cover its weakness to Water-types, and for Tauros, it can use Scary Face to decrease your movement speed, and its Horn Attack can hurt.
While the Pokémon there are tough, I recommend levelling up to around Level 20, or even higher if you are having trouble with the Pokémon there, and I do recommend bringing along a Flying or Ice-type to handle most of the Pokémon in this dungeon. At the end of the dungeon is where Xatu is at, and after some dialogue, Xatu tells us about the natural disasters that are affecting this world, and that there is a connection between the human becoming a Pokémon and the natural disasters, but it turns out that a familiar Pokémon is spying on us.
After completing Great Canyon, when you revisit this dungeon, there is a strong foe for this dungeon, that Pokémon is Ambipom, it can have Technician for its Ability, and any moves with low power, like Double Hit, Dual Chop, and Fury Swipes will get an attack boost, and if they weren't already overpowered, Ambipom can instantly defeat your Pokémon in one attack from those moves, it can also use Screech to make those multi-hit moves more devastating, so I recommend bringing some Seeds or Wands to try and prevent Ambipom from attacking so that you can defeat it and gain a Deluxe Box, and like with the other strong foes, there is a chance of finding a Shiny Ambipom in Great Canyon.
