The next few days are just filler, even though we helped out Medicham, and that we can go to the deepest parts of Wish Cave with our new Wish Box to make a wish, but we will not be doing that in this part. Instead, we check out a new dungeon called Waterfall Pond which is filled with Water-type Pokémon.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

We might have done Wish Cave, but it will take a few more days until we can progress further into the plot, while I could do Fiery Field or Silver Trench, I will wait till later to do those places, and instead check out a new dungeon called Waterfall Pond.
Waterfall Pond has 19 floors, and it is filled with Water-type Pokémon, you can encounter Mudkip, Barboach, Lotad, Poliwag, Goldeen, Wooper, Surskit, Totodile, Corphish, Magikarp, Squirtle, Poliwhirl, Masquerain, Lombre, Marshtomp, Quagsire, Whiscash, Feebas, and Poliwrath. If you have brought any Grass and Electric-type Pokémon with you, they can handle most of the Water-type Pokémon in this dungeon, and this dungeon is where you can recruit the Water-type starters, as well as some Pokémon like Lotad, Barboach, Goldeen, and a few others, while Magikarp and Feebas are a bit rarer, in the original games, they were very rare.
There is a strong foe in this dungeon, and it is Gyarados, and you do have a chance of encountering a Shiny Gyarados, so you can get a Red Gyarados in this game. This is a very powerful Pokémon, it can use some dangerous moves like Hydro Pump and Hyper Beam, and it can even use Dragon Dance to boost its Attack and movement speed, and get in some heavy damage with moves like Ice Fang and Crunch. Gyarados can even use Rain Dance to make sure Hurricane will always hit, and that Hydro Pump will hit even harder, this is something you do not want to mess around with. If you have a Friend Bow and some items like an Inviting Orb or a Pokémon with False Swipe, that will increase the odds of recruiting a Shiny Gyarados, and if you are able to, you have a very powerful ally on your team.
Gyarados can learn a wide variety of moves, you will want Hydro Pump as it hits 10 tiles and has a piercing effect, for TMs, it can get Blizzard, Thunderbolt, Flamethrower, Ice Beam, Brutal Swing, Dark Pulse, Waterfall, Stone Edge, and many other moves. Gyarados does get a good amount of Tutor moves, it can learn Water Pulse, Iron Head, Dragon Pulse, and Outrage, and even better, Gyarados can Mega Evolve with the use of an Empowerment Seed, and when Mega Evolved, Gyarados will be a Water/Dark-type, so you get a great teammate if you are able to recruit it to your team.
At the end of Waterfall Pond, you can pick up two Evolution Crystals and a Deluxe Box, it is good that these after-game dungeons give some nice rewards when you get to the end, as Evolution Crystals are rare items, and you can find them in Kecleon Shops for 1000 Poké, and they are required for evolving some Pokémon.
