We learn from Medicham and Ekans that something seems to be up with Gengar, and that some weird stuff has happened with him. It will take a while before then, but in this video, we explore a new dungeon called Desert Region, this dungeon is inhabited by Ground-type Pokémon, but there are a few Rock-types as well, as well as the bright sun and sandstorms that happen occasionally.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

I didn't expect to recruit the Shiny Gyarados back at Waterfall Pond, and at least we have it for a powerful teammate, as it can get moves like Hydro Pump, Aqua Tail, and Crunch, and it can Mega Evolve with the use of an Empowerment Seed.
The dungeon we check out is Desert Region, this dungeon occasionally has sandstorms and bright sunlight, very fitting for being known as the Desert Region. You can encounter Sandshrew, Shedinja, Nosepass, Trapinch, Hitmontop, Nidoqueen, Baltoy, Sandslash, Gligar, and Dusclops. Some of the Pokémon there do not take damage from the sandstorm, and do note that some, like Sandshrew, can use Magnitude, which can hurt everyone in the room. If you brought a Water-type Pokémon to this dungeon, specially one with Hydro Pump, they should be able to make good work out of the Ground-types in this dungeon.
There is a strong foe in Desert Region, and it is Sudowoodo, and there is a chance of encountering a Shiny Sudowoodo. This Pokémon does not move unless you go near it, and it does have some very powerful attacks, like Head Smash, Wood Hammer, and Double-Edge, and with Rock Head, Sudowoodo will not take any recoil damage, it can use Counter, so I would recommend using Special Attacks if it does so. If you have a Friend Bow, the chances of recruiting a Shiny Sudowoodo will be increased, and if you can get it, preferably one with Rock Head, it can be a devastating force if you give it moves like Head Smash and Wood Hammer. Sudowoodo does get some decent TM moves, like Earthquake, Brick Break, Rock Polish, and a few others, but it does get some good Tutor moves, like Earth Power and the Elemental Punches, so at least Sudowoodo can learn a room clearing move like Earth Power, as that is a good move to have.
At the end of Desert Region, you can pick up some useful items, like 20 Golden Spikes and 20 Golden Fossils, and they are throwing items to damage opponents, but they can be sold for a good amount of money, and you can find a Deluxe Box there as well. Out of the after-game dungeons you can unlock, Desert Region is my least favourite to go through, probably because of the sandstorms that happen, but at least you get some good items at the end.
