It is just some days of rescue jobs, and one new dungeon called Oddity Cave, which has some tougher Pokémon to fight than the previous few dungeons, and the appearance of a villainous rescue team led by Gengar and like to cause trouble for others.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

Oddity Cave is a dungeon with 8 floors, and it is unlocked after going through Mt. Steel. In the original Rescue Team games, this was originally a 15 floor dungeon that was only unlocked through Wonder Mail, but since this is a remake, this dungeon is available after competing Mt. Steel.
There is a wide variety of Pokémon that you can encounter in this dungeon, you can find Weedle, Pidgey, Rattata, Nidoran♀, Nidoran♂, Clefairy, Zubat, Oddish, Paras, Poliwag, Ponyta, Doduo, Seel, Grimer, Gastly, Onix, Voltorb, Exeggcute, Hitmonlee, Lickitung, Tangela, Mr. Mime, Pinsir, Sentret, and Ledyba. With larger Pokémon like Onix, they are bigger and they have better attack range, so if Onix were to use Rock Throw, it can hit all foes that are in front of it, and you can easily surround it and attack.
I like the music for Oddity Cave, as it plays songs from Gates to Infinity, and even if it wasn't the most well liked Mystery Dungeon game, Gates to Infinity did have some nice songs in it. This is the second Mystery Dungeon Medley songs, the first was the Rescue Team Medley in Explorers of Time, Darkness, and Sky, which was a good song.
The Pokémon there are tougher than in previous dungeons, but they can be powerful allies if you can recruit them, so it is best to be prepared before taking on Oddity Cave.
When the day is done, we meet up with a group of troublemakers, they are a rescue team called Team Meanies, and to show how evil they can be, they steal mail from us.
Then it is one more day of filler, and one thing to explain is that some dungeons have a strong opponent, Mt. Steel is one of those areas, and the strong foe for that dungeon is Rapidash. Strong foes have a lot of health, and they are tough opponents, but if you can defeat one, you can earn a good amount of experience and a Deluxe Box. Rapidash has some very powerful moves, like Poison Jab, Megahorn, Fury Attack, Flame Charge, and many others, so I would bring some useful items, like Blast Seeds to get in some heavy damage, and wands to help in the fight. There is a rare chance that you can encounter Shiny Pokémon, but only strong foes, like Rapidash, can be Shiny when encountered. This is one of the rare times that Shiny Pokémon appear in a Mystery Dungeon game, the most notable was the Shiny Celebi in Explorers of Time, Darkness, & Sky, and Shiny Pokémon did appear in the WiiWare Mystery Dungeon game that only released in Japan, and there was a Shiny Ho-Oh in Gates to Infinity, so it is good to see which Shiny Pokémon appeared in different Mystery Dungeon games.
When you have completed a rescue job, Caterpie will show up at your base and tell you that Metapod has gone missing, and Gengar's team arrives and it looks like both teams have to compete in saving Metapod in Sinister Woods.
